The Juan De La Cruz Band was one of the first rock and roll bands in the Philippines. In December 1970, the band was featured in the first open field rock festival in the Philippines, the Antipolo Rock Festival. The band's popularity gained momentum in September 1971 when it backed up the production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). Then in December of the same year, the band garnered its crowning glory when again, for the first time in the Philippines, a rock group on its own, backed by a full symphony orchestra (the National Philharmonic) was presented in concert at the CCP.

After a seemingly random sonic collision over the city of Heidelberg in late 2008, the constellation of *Buddha Sentenza* began to form during the darkest hours of that cold and silent winter. Deep under the earth, in the hidden bowels of the Klonlabor tunnel complex, the searing strings and pounding drums condensed rapidly to form a nebulous cloud of loosely jammed, spaced-out, rocking riffs. Rotating freely around some of the most ancient soundscapes - from the astral end of the Pink Floyd to the depths of galaxies such as Black Sabbath - Buddha Sentenza has continued to expand, drawing energy from contemporary constellations as well. Thus, its elements follow the trail of early rock psychonauts and modern riffrockers alike, fusing droning riffs, screaming solos and cosmic harmonies into an instrumental sound experience that defies any strict genre boundaries. The result is a texture that combines the raw massiveness of rock with the infinite possibilities of outer space.

El primer resultado de este trío de músicos se publicó durante 1975 y llevó por nombre "Gateway", que tendría su continuación con "Gateway 2" tres años después.

Un álbum de Jazz contemporáneo que como en todas las grandes colaboraciones demuestra el talento de sus componentes por separado en habilidosos fragmentos, y que cuando todos van a una resultan soberbios.

nuevo proyecto de Justin Broadrick (GODFLESH, JESU, FINAL,.. & Aaron Turner (ISIS, OLD MAN GLOOM,..) en clave totalmente extrema, industrial, noise,... muy diferente, mucho mas radical, a los proyectos mas conocidos y asentados (isis, jesu,..) de ambos musicos.

para mi este disco suena a algo asi como juntar el rollo del ultimo de khanate con el minimalismo de la ultima etapa de earth. aunque escuchando lo minimalista que es a veces me entra la duda si los temas estan super trabajados o los han hecho en una tarde jeje,.. a mi me parece interesante y ya por el segundo tema "continents" ya merece mucho la pena.

Magia Negra - Magia Negra (1986)

Magia Negra fue una formación de Heavy Metal creada en 1979 en Barcelona y que hasta 1986 no sacarían el que terminó por ser su único trabajo, un EP autotitulado de cuatro temas.

Entre estos sobresalen los seis minutos de "Marnea", con una voz que no está a la altura del resto de instrumentos pero que no impide la escucha de un disco bastante disfrutable sin llegar a ser ninguna joya oscura del Metal español.
