Asilo introduces their new stuff: a split cd shared with the german metal drone project Neh Czneg. Available in CDR from Zann’s Music, Distroiart (both from Argentina), Depressive Illusions Records (Ukraine), and Vibrio Cholerae (Germany) and in digital download / streaming from Zann’s Music and Bandcamp.

On this split cd, asilo features two new compositions, “La Paciencia del Cuchillo” (spanish for “The patience of the knife”), in a raw and primitive version - this song will be released in their final version in the forthcoming debut full length of the band - and “Miles de ojos cerrados” (spanish for “Thousands of closed eyes”), an experimental track where the band mixes their harsh bass sound with jazz influences.

Morality Crisis devastates the earballs with slabs of iconoclastic post-hardcore, reminiscent of bands like Sleep, Yes, Drive Like Jehu, and Deicide. This Minneapolis-based act, composed of three lifelong friends, create a sound as soul-crushingly grounded as a Minnesconsin winter, yet as unpredictable as the wide-eyed dissonance of the Midwestern psyche.

“Boats” was funded entirely by a Kickstarter campaign and produced by Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording in Richfield, MN in January-March 2013, The album guides the listener from pant-shitting weaponsludge ("Enormous Fucking Death Ass Knife") to stabbing hardcore ("Gary Plays with Fire") to life-affirming doom prog ("Electric Friends") and everywhere in between.

Purkinje presenta su primer disco, Bukkake Social (Autoeditado, 2012). Son 13 canciones que pasan por diferentes matices del rock -hardcore, metal, stoner.- pero siempre desde la óptica punk (la chispa inicial del grupo). Con mala leche y cantadas en catalán, las letras del disco son una muestra de las diferentes sensaciones que sienten los 4 miembros del grupo en su día a día dentro de la sociedad en que vivimos. Aveces, uno se puede escapar y encontrar motivos, ideas que, al arraigar, permiten continuar creyendo en otra realidad más allá de la estrictamente impuesta por los agentes establecidos. En cambio, otras veces lo establecido pesa demasiado y uno se cuestiona si, al caer por su propio peso, no se llevará por el camino los árboles que han crecido intentando encontrar un poco de luz. Entonces, solo queda escupir rábia y frustación, pero no, aún no, resignación.
