Nitroseed was first formed by current Earthride bassist Rob Hampshire and guitarists Shane Balloun (Gorge) and Tucker Orr in Jan 2002. Later we enlisted former Spirit Caravan drummer Gary Isom to take over the skins. In April 2008 we recruited Phil Adler (Wooly Mammoth) to take over drums. Loud, heavy, riff rock is our thing. Diez años después de su primer EP, los finlandeses Fleshpress publican de nuevo bajo este formato por partida doble, y que bien podría formar un álbum de larga duración uniéndo los dos temas que componen cada uno de sus dos nuevos trabajos.
Siguen la línea del "Pillars" sacando lo mejor de este. Combinando ese Sludge 'Black' Metal con Doom Metal oscuro y pesado más toques de ruido y rematando con Rock lisérgico setentero.
Recomiendo escuchar primeramente los dos temas que forman "Rebuild / Crumble" para finalizar con los de "No Return". Después de haberlos escuchado en este orden, para mí es el orden más adecuado por el inicio de uno y sobretodo finalización del otro (!).
El único punto con el que estoy en desacuerdo es que se había publicitado como dos discos que si bien mantienen el sonido Fleshpress los temas de uno y otro no casaban entre sí, cuando aún con diferencias evidentes, no veo tanta incompatibilidad entre ambos como para que no funcionen juntos perfectamente y así poder considerarse el quinto álbum de la banda. Claro que esto siempre va a gustos.
¡Ah! Y el que pretenda quejarse de mi ripeo que se lo compre y calle.
